No longer Anti GoPro - May 7, 2015, 02:56 PM

So for some here, I expressed my pure hate of GoPro just because I hate going with an item just because it has cornered the market based off a pure ton of advertisements and folks who get paid to review it.

So for the longest time, I literally just refused to buy one. I originally had my mind completely set on buying the ReplayXD Prime X. Actually had pre-ordered it but it kept getting pushed back so I eventually cancelled.

Well thanks BigE here on the board, I can honestly say I no longer have hate for the GoPro line. Purchased Hero4 Black Edition from him, already had one but purchased another 64gb card, and the Smartree 2pk batteries with 3 battery smart charger, and the all out accessories bundle from Amazon that was like $25.

Grand total = less than $500.

Hooked it up the other day, synced easily to my S4, video is crisp and all the items work beautifully. Played with the chest strap today to see how it worked and it was just smooth sailing. Everything JUST WORKS...

**pretty sure I will be opting for a new selfie pole but that is when its actually needed...no need right now**

So AS MUCH as I wanted to hate this camera/brand...its pure awesome. So many things for it as well as tips and tricks(like mounting to cell phone and using cellphone flash to be your night light for videoing).

Thanks again BigE for the sale. Much appreciated.

In before promises of a fisticuffs throwdown the likes of which only Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee could hope to replicate.

I like the GoPros. Is Contour back in business yet?

Or was it just that you were against it until they came out with an edition specifically for black people?

...wait what?

Fucking Turkish. I laughed. After a long crappy day at work...I needed that.

And don't work Turkish, I'll send some GoPro video using the Charmin.

And just for the OP: The plastic base the gopro is mounted to when you buy it - make a great base to mount the camera to on a dirtbike chest protector. I've been drilling holes in it and zip tying it to my armor for several years now.

I want my baby back, baby back, baby back....Chileeeeee's bay back...

Count on Turkish to bring light to the darkness... Silly mofo.

And yep thanks for the advice about the original plate. I watched a YouTube video of the guy stating that so it's already been kept and will be used.
