No Money - November 30, 2006, 03:09 PM

http://inetdocs.loudoun.gov/sheriff/...k/office2k.htm

Loudoun County, Virginia- Two bank tellers who convinced a would be robber that the bank had no money could be the reason a Wednesday morning heist failed.

Around 10:45 AM an unknown man walked into the Bank of America in the Dulles Crossing Plaza and demanded money from a teller. Two employees at the bank feigned confusion about the situation and then told the man that there was no money at the bank. The unknown suspect left the scene empty handed.

The suspect is believed to have left the scene in a white four-door Nissan Maxima with tinted windows. The rear license plate on the vehicle had been covered. The suspect is seen on surveillance video released by the Loudoun Sheriff’s Office wearing a black hat, black coat and black pants.

Anyone with information about the possible identity of the suspect is asked to contact Investigator J. Russ of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 703-777-0475. If the caller wishes to remain anonymous they are asked to contact Loudoun Crime Solvers at 703-777-1919. If the information leads to an arrest and indictment the caller could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.

1. Stupid criminals.

2. Stupid tellers. What if he had a weapon and hurt them because they lied? Not like this is going to get them a raise or anything.

Very true.

The banks are insured and they tell their employees to comply with all criminals.

My sisters friend was the manager at a bank that had been help up three times durring her tenyor, she said the most annoying part was the paperwork that she had to fill out afterwards.

Ugh... you'd think the criminal is the biggest idiot, but its actually the tellers. Update us tomorrow when the criminal comes back and shoots the two tellers.

Teller windows are pretty safe. If they weren't in the teller line, then they honestly didn't have any money to give him.
