No More Cage: Car Totalled - July 14, 2006, 08:22 AM

Most likely anyways.

In a back country road in Rockingham County around Harrisonburg, a woman blew a stop sign and I t-boned her off the road and up an embankment. A couple of burns form the airbag on my arm and head and some seatbelt soreness, but other than that things are fine.

The bike is my only car other than the wifes car.

Time to go to Carmax again.

My car got smashed, but luckily I wasn't in it.
At least you had full coverage, right? And now you get to get a new car!

She got a "Failure to obey a stop sign".

The insurance adjuster is supposed to look at my car some time late today. I'm hoping for enough money just to buy another 98 Maxima, but looking the Blue Book value of a perfect condition Maxima, I'm going to be about $3k short.

Sorry to hear about this, but glad you're ok. Hopefully insurance doesn't screw you over.

I hate insurance. They should be required by law to give you what it costs to replace your car with a comparable vehicle in condition, mileage, etc. Instead, its as if they just get to knock a couple grand off the value of your car and we all just smile and say "thank goodness you had insurance".

Pisses me off.

The woman got of her car visibly upset. She was older and immediatly started saying that "her mama's gonna skin me alive".

She got out and started smoking a cigarette and walking around the road barefoot.

I was lucky she had insurance at all.
