There is hope, Ford is CONSIDERING bring over the Ka. That's just great, could have done it a few years ago. Everyone knew Merc was bringing Smart.

GM might be the worst run company (next to the US Government) In the world. If you look back over time they have a tendency to be 4-5 years behind the times on everything. They has rested on there name and GMAC for years to maintin the name of largest car company. It is only a matter of time untill they are out of business for good.

Not the least bit surprised. American car companies are all about status quo and failure. Bold, stylish, reliable, sensible... these are adjectives we only use to describe cars imported from overseas.

Unfortunately that is the stigma. Ford has nice designs in other countries. Why not here? GM reliability is damn good, in my experience. BTW where is that new Camaro?

I read somewhere they need another year to finalize design ect ect...

So, it should be a 2010 Model year car

Pretty sad ....time to market is everything!

Ever owned a volkswagen??? My brother owns a ford and its been great--even has 300,000+ miles on it. I guess it's hit or miss sometimes with some companies.
