i would so go to the landing if it weren't so frakking cold. I dislocated my shoulder there once. great track.

here's me dropping my CR in a turn(not the time I dislocated the shoulder):

that's what i get for cruising on a high-performance closed-course machine

I'd love to try the landing - haven't been there yet. Their website says there is a special event on Saturday, so I'm not sure if they're open to the public. But the forecast says Sunday would be the warmer day anyway (high of 50).

I definitely can't do Saturday, but I would be up for going there on Sunday (pending that I finish moving on Sat).

high of 50? that's below my minimum. you get wet at that temp, which you will if you ride thru a puddle, and it's not so much fun anymore

it is if you get wet, which you will riding off-road. Also, it's a high of 50, which means it is likely to be in the high 40s

it might feel fine if you like the cold. Personally, I don't. 60 is my lower limit for any motorcycle related activity. I know it's colder on a street bike because of the speed and the wind, but getting wet on a dirt bike can have a similar chilling effect.

I guess "cold" is relative. I bet you're wearing shorts and go out with no jacket on too, right? Just a hoodie?
