Off to Texas - August 9, 2007, 09:19 PM

Well tomorrow is the big day. Doin my first escorting duty. Hard that it's my best friend.

Today i met his mom and dad and i saw him in the casket. It was good to see him again.. Nice lookin at him in his dress blues one last time. Since the helmet shatterd on impact, they actually ended up covering his face with a white cloth so you couldn't see the damage. Which is good for friends and family. They got good pictures of him in their heads.

I kinda with i coulda seen his face one last time. Last i i saw it, he was all messed up..

Well anyways... Wish me luck. And i'll see everyone out next weekend on a ride.

Take care everyone. Be safe

You're doing a wonderful service. Be strong, and take comfort in knowing you're helping his family in their time of grief.

Stay strong, you'll be a comfort to the family. Don't forget you are mourning too though...

Chin up and stay strong. I know it's hard man, I just went through it with Eric, but time heals all wounds. Let the family know that they are in all of our prayers.

R.I.P. Eric. You were truly like a younger brother to me. May you live on in all those you helped and reached out to help. You are truly missed!

tfinch: well, actually, if he did, that's fine cause it's in the pockets!

: Mike, can you feel bubbles floating around in there?

tfinch: Bubbles! Yes! Gurgly bubbles!
