Office Sporting Event - June 23, 2011, 12:53 PM

I am putting a sporting event together (indoor or outdoor) for my office and I need some ideas. We've done dodgeball the past two times, and the idea of kickball has been thrown around. I was thinking of floor hockey, but I cannot seem to find any companies that run this sort of thing.

Any other ideas/companies around the Arlington/DC area would be great.

Paintball is a fun one.

What is the demographic of the people involved? Young / old? Male / Female? What kind of turnout did you have with Dodgeball? Is this supposed to be team building or just a fun time away from "the grind".

Could list all sorts of fun stuff:

Indoor Rock Climbing
Soccer
Have a mini "olympics"
.....

We have a very young demographic, with the average age being around 27 years old. We do government consulting and we would like to have something fun, competitive, and with the ability to drink when not participating.

The idea of mini olympics was tossed around, but that could be hit or miss. It was tough to find enough games at a decent price too.
