Officer fired after using excessive force during arrest in school. - October 28, 2015, 02:13 PM

So during the arrest of a teen in a high school class things got out of control, and the officer blatantly used excessive force which was caught on camera that lead to his termination. Only small snippets of the event where released since it is now under FBI investigation. The student was asked to leave from both a teacher and administrator prior to the police being called. Apparently he went to pick up her belongings after refusing to leave again, in which she struck the officer while picking up her laptop. Things where then escalated after the officer lost his cool. The officer recently received the Culture of Excellence Award, and praised by people in the community. I donít condone the officersí actions at all, but why are these kids not listening? I feel that none of this would have happened if the kids just followed directions and handled things in a civil matter. Teacher tells them to do something because they are being disruptive and they donít listen, then an administrator tells them to do something for being disruptive and they donít listen, then an officer is called upon and again you donít follow directions and strike at the officer. In the end nobody wins.

This is super dumb. There are cops that kill people for no reason and it's swept under the rug. The girl tries to swing and kick him and his actions are considered excessive and his life is ruined. You have to have a standard. Honestly the girl deserved what she had coming.
