Man its still a dollar lower on the 93 here in Dallas.

You know we get all crazy over paying $4/gallon. Shit we used to (let me say still) pay $12/gallon in Turkey and most of Europe That's why everyone drives a 1.4L turbo diesel econoboxes.

Texas is oil country. Not as rich in oil as it used to be, but it should still be .50-75 lower than the national average considering it's already there and most all the pipelines in the US originate or terminate in TX.

Oh, I know. I was just posting it in response to that columnist/analyst being completely out of his mind.

Good thing I have not gone through with my plans of bumping horse power up to 550HP at the wheels on my 09 G8 GT. It comes factory with 87 octane tune. So I'm glad I don't have to run high octane.
Still pay up the ass though when I take out my LT4 corvette.

My (dumb) friend decided today would be the best time to upgrade to a new truck.

What does he get - a Cayenne S ....

93 octane sipping w/oil looking like it's on its way to $120/bbl by summer.

Told him told just hold tight because soon enough the dealers would probably pay him to take the damn thing off their hands like they were doing in 2008 with H2's, Suburbans, and Escalades.

ALL MY HEROES ARE RUSSIAN...GO CAPS!

Well you see, Norm, it’s like this…A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.-Cliff Claven
