This morning at 7:30 on the toll road east bound around Herndon. CBR RR at 60MPH while the temperature was registering 15 degrees on my mirror doohicky. Huge props to you Mr. Die Hard.

I rode in the winter until a couple years ago.... I got a wreckless on the toll road in 14 degree weather. Easy to be a target when youre the only one.

I rode yesterday and had a great ride to and from work. Would have rode today but staying home with sick kid! The bike makes more power in this fridged weather too!

I rode in this morning, but I have a black 2006 ZX-10. I rode yesterday, too, and was really uncomfortable when snow started pouring down on 66. Today is a good day--then again, I am originally from Sweden, and cold is something I have learned to live with.

Dude I was getting blown all over the place. I must have looked like a drunk driver. And that ice was nuts. I pulled into my neighborhood and hydroplaned like 5 feet. Not a huge distance but it woke me right up.

Yeah, that wind kept me awake, especially on 66. I had to stop at a 7-Eleven to pick up a few things. The snow was flying in the air, but not sticking to the ground. So, I thought I was ok. When I got out, though, there was a white slipperty blanket waiting for me! Luckily, I was only a few hundred yards away from my local street, so I made it ok.

In my hometown in Sweden, there was a guy who put skiis on the sides of his bike (sort of like training wheels) that would prevent him from turning over completely, but still let him make turns. He also used tires with nobbs/spikes (??) to propel him through the snow/ice. That dude was crazy!
