Open Source Tooling and Machinery - April 22, 2011, 11:17 AM

Very interesting idea.
You ME and CAD guys will like this too.

A Lego-like kit of parts to design multiple tools, machinery, and heavy equipment for emerging economies. All designs are open source and shared.

The kit makes everything from farm tractors to brick pressing mills.

Indeed. And it only takes $10,000 for the basic kit. Awesome.
You can't even get a Bobcat with one attachment for $10K.
