Parkinson Foundation... Please help me reach my donation goals. - October 10, 2011, 02:50 PM

I am participating in the Moving Day Walk, benefiting the Parkinson Foundation of the National Capital Area on Oct. 16, 2011.

The event will take place at the Washington Nationals Ball Park and Navy Yard and will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event for all ages and abilities. We will be able to enjoy a variety of movement activities yoga, dance, Pilates, Tai Chi, stretching and much more and celebrate the importance of movement in our lives.

Please consider being a part of my team or sponsoring me, and I encourage you to get your friends, family and coworkers involved.

A while back I took some flack for asking questions about an organization, and where their money went. I never got complete answers to that question.

This, however is a registered charity who publicly releases its financials.

Support this if you can, folks.

You know anyone that could cut the frame and weld up a tube to the back of the frame?

Hey man - Just wanted to say its awesome to see so much support with stuff like this on this site. If you don't mind, I am going to throw this up on my fb page to get you some extra support. I am not sure if anyone will donate, but I figure putting the word out there couldn't hurt!

We have a very close family friend in Hawaii suffering from this awful disease. Good luck in your fundraising, thank you for your time and efforts and a donation has been made.
