Finding someone to fill that position long term is going to be difficult. My company has a similar position thats been open for months. Temp agency is probably your best option. Good luck.

Yeah we have a temp right now since I was out of work for about a month but it costs too much $$$ so we're trying to find someone from outside temp agency.

I b/c most likely that would be illegal. Most temp agencies have it worded in their contract that the co would NOT hire the temp at all or for some retarded finders fee.. And that thing holds on that temp employee usually for 6 months after they leave the temp job/agency.

Im sure there is a way around it though..

Depends on the temp agency, lots of friends I know have gone from temp to perm at companies. Sometimes there was a fee for the hiring company sometimes there isn't.

I say hire the temp. . . . . if she's hot.

The two i worked for had the "fee" setup. Damn i miss ATLANTA

When I was in college I went from a temp to full time position at the place where I was working. Not sure if they charged the company a fee or not. I did get a raise though.

Yeah we could hire the temp but that's not what my employer wants to do *shrug*... They want someone from outside the temp. agency so we don't have to pay for finders fee i guess
