Pepco, WTF is with these aholes? - July 27, 2010, 05:26 PM

Anyone on here work for Pepco? Hey, um wtf is with your grids man? Always the most customers to lose electricity, always the longest to restore it. You're fired!

Was reading their outages last night. Incredible. I feel lucky to have only been in the dark for one night and some change.

I used to live in Montgomery county and my power would go out for days at a time when the storms came. I now live in Jefferson county, WV and my power has been out a grand total of 4 hours in the last 2 years.

I was getting a haircut yesterday, and my barber told me that some parts of Mont County may not get power back till August 5th. O_O

My electric came back on around 3 am this morning. I was shocked that it didn't take another couple of days. Verison FiOS is still facked, but all I care about is internet. They can keep the television programming.

HUGE tree limb hanging on power lines along MacArthur, possibly on the DC side of the line. Hasn't even been touched yet. This ain't about Maryland failing, this is about Pepco sucking ass. They clearly do not trim the trees away from their lines, and their grid equipment is outdated and unreliable. They're getting away with something, and I want it to stop.

I heard on the radio that they had 350 crews from out of the area here to help.
