..Don't know what to say about this. Did not give it much thought other than those people needed help (that's the Firefighter in me)....most of them anyways... like anywhere else in this world.. there are good and bad people.

Broad sweeping over generalizations directed at entire populations of people (and pets for that matter) are indicative of very weak minds. Those statements reflect emotional motive based upon poor upbringing or a complete loss of being in touch with all ideology surrounding the fabric of America. Extremist? You bet! Value? None! Regardless of an individual's chosen side in the debate over hurricane Katrina and the responsibility to act, statements of general blame do nothing more than further the divide. I may live in a fantasy world, but still it makes me sick.

I've always been interested to know what makes extremist on both sides of a debate tick.

I was lined up to go down there as a Vol Firefighter with my company. Keep in mind I would be using my vacation time possibly risking injury or death. I risk that on duty anyways so no big deal. I have always had the thinking that when people need help I should just help. God will take care of his part in dealing with bad the people. I'm so a believer in Every dog will have it's day.

And survival of the fittest... Too many years of stories of seemingly insurmountable odds, yet certain determined individuals, or groups seem to be able to overcome.

Hmmm ... Jesse not so much as old Louie I think. He (Farrakhan) gets under my skin. I DO believe that he stirs up hatred.

Someone tell me what's racist about him? Or what's even extreme about him?

He isn't saying anything that hasn't been said by other Black non-Democrats ( re: Larry Elder, Ken Hamblin, etc )

Extremist in that he has valid points that most of the media wont tolerate let alone publish. His veiws are in line with a majority of people in this country. Unfortunatley that is not PC. therefore mostly unheard.

As for Jesse and his ilk dont get me started. And that goes for both sides of the card.
