I was in Lancaster County over the weekend and while in the parking lot of Kitchen Kettle Village I observed something profoundly obnoxious perpetrated by a BMW driver. Douchie-looking late-middle-aged white dude with sunglasses--real bank manager-looking tool--climbs into his full-size BMW sedan and starts backing out of his spot. There was a SUV already in the aisle when he was climbing into his car, slowly getting itself out of a spot and on its way. Doucie BMW guy couldn't wait for this to conclude so he throws his car in reverse, begins backing out right toward said SUV, and starts honking his horn, making a bunch of noise and a big scene. Hilariously stupid and arrogant, that guy.

I have a similar parking story...parking was horrendous and this lady beat me to the last spot which took forever to become vacant. But the thing was that she parked incorrectly and so she had to pull out , correct her positioning and reneteer. She pulled out so far that i thought she was leaving so as she was reversing i pulled my bmw into her spot, effectively taking it!

After working double shifts, not sleeping for 25 hours, and partying in Queens I managed to drive home some 24 miles. The problem? I lived 26 miles away.

I fell asleep behind the wheel 1 mile from my exit and put the car into the median guardrail of the Southern State Parkway, spun it under an overpass, and ricocheted across 2 lanes into a drainage ditch.

I had ordered new BMW roundel badges to replace the old faded ones and had just put them on three days earlier. They were the only things that managed to survive the crash relatively unscathed, so I popped them off the car and put them in my pocket as I hobbled off the highway to find help.

A have a Parking story where the other guy walked away thinking I was a dick.

Annapolis mall parking lot, second floor, right in front of the theatre entrance, this slow moving F350 parks it (without pulling to the right) and slowly lets out his slow passengers with me stuck behind him.


Then he slowly makes his way around the lot with me in tow, and he passes up a spot on the back corner, so I start to pull into it, when I see him start to back up.


Nice, I think. Why should I expect captain slow to park in any way but the slowest way....backing in.


Well, too late. I snagged your spot. You should have signaled.

So I am in my BMW driving in the left lane behind a Prius. The Prius is going slower than everyone in the lanes to the right but there is enough traffic passing us on the right that I could not get over. By the time a gap opened up I was a little frustrated. So I downshifted, accelerated, waited until I was fairly close to the Prius before changing lanes, passed him fairly close on the side and got back into the left lane fairly close to his front bumper and accelerated away in the left lane. He then signaled and got out of the fast lane.

If that was you, I apologize for being a douche. I will try and drive sedately behind you while the 3 lanes to our right travel at 10-15 mph faster than us.

My uncle once told me: "BMW's are like hemorrhoids, every ass-hole has one".

While that holds some truth, I think it all boils down to envy, and the fact that "not only did that person do something wrong, but they drive a nicer car than mine so fuck them!". I think it's normal, but it doesn't apply to me anymore since I drive a Saab and am therefore interesting and cultured by default.
