So, with every New Years comes a ton of resolutions that won't likely be kept - but still, I find myself reflecting at the beginning of every year on the big questions: What am I doing? What do I want? Where am I going? All else is easy.

In the spirit of the new year and refreshing our goals and plans - what do you want from 2008? What goals are you working toward?

Be specific - none of this fluffy "happiness and world peace" junk. How are you going to make it happen in 2008?

These may or may not be motorcycle specific.

1) pay off most my debt (CC and bike)
2) fix my bike

Start eating healthy food and excercising again. I know this is cliche, but it's something i was doing great at for awhile then slowly slid back into bad habits. I know *how* to get the goals i want, it's just starting and keeping at it. Going to join the gym today w/roommate. i think roommate will be a big help in working out with and getting started.

1st time i recognized and adjusted my weight was cuz i just hated the way i felt/looked. This time it's a combination of that and the realization that im not getting any younger and family history of health issues. It kind of make this feel more urgent than to just lose weight to 'look good' again - im more looking at the long term benefits of living healthy.

pop track day(cornerspeed?) cherry.

get a boating license.

Career development. Get better knowledge of the industry im in, sometimes i feel like im in over my head.

Get feet on stable financial ground.

My goals are simple

HAVE FUN! Enjoy life to the fullest!
Do the best I can with the new project I have been put in charge of at work
Run Bonneville.
Get the bike on the track.
Did i mention Have as much fun as possible?

Gain 30 Lbs (I'm 6'5" 210lbs right now)
Sell my 944/finish my VW project car

All very simple, I'll save the "world peace" and "not breaking bones" for someone who needs a challange.
