anyone know of a public outdoor range? 100m or above?

+1 The only thing you need to do in order to use the range is buy ammo and sign a from saying you won't sue.

Yea do not forget to wear bullet proof gear! Been there, got shot once 20 years ago and almost shot again about 10 years ago! Not the safest place to shoot.

Chris-

I answered your PM as well. You may want to check with Gore and see if you can fire that rifle there. I have never been, but I know that several members of that site have been, so maybe they can answer your questions as to distance of targets.

The best answer is going to br to try to find somebody with 100+ acres of hayfields that will let you shoot. Haymaking is primarely done for the season and they move into letting hunters on thier lands. I am sure somebody would allow you. Just stop at a farm house that you see has acreage.
