Question about DC establishment - February 2, 2007, 09:35 AM

I was just wondering if anyone here has heard of, or even better, been to a place called Lucky Strike in NW DC? I won tickets to a Superbowl Party there and when I heard bowling alley, naturally I didn't think very nice thoughts. Love bowling but my idea of a typical bowling alley would not be a place where I would want to hang out and watch the Superbowl.

I suppose it can't be all bad with free food and beer. Free beer is always good.

Been there...

it's actually quite different from the usual redneck-golfcourse... picture people that are usually dressed to the 9's, half-crocked, and bowling in a NICE bwling alley, with modern-type art-deco furniture between the lanes and there you have it..,

good times

it can be a little $$$ to bowl there though... you pay by the hour, not by the game

i'd go there for the superbowl... flat screens EVERYWHERE

enjoy!
