Hang in there, dude! Find some activities to turn to when you have the cravings. Post a blue streak of curses if you need to, and remind yourself that smoking is the number one risk factor for lung and pancreatic cancers as well as many other diseases including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and emphysema.

congrats - stick to it! If you start thinking of smoking one - go do something intense that will get it off your mind and/or hang out with someone who is also trying to quit - they can help reinforce you and vice versa.

My smoking habit is weird. I only smoke in social settings, so it must be a nervous thing. I NEVER smoke otherwise.

I quit for a year then started again.When I quit,every time I got a craving,I did 50 push-ups.

ALL MY HEROES ARE RUSSIAN...GO CAPS!

Well you see, Norm, itís like thisÖA herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members. In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Now, as we know, excessive intake of alcohol kills brain cells. But naturally, it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first. In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. And that, Norm, is why you always feel smarter after a few beers.-Cliff Claven

everytime you get the craving, just imagine a smellly smoking girl with yellow teeth. that will just keep you honest to yourself unless you want to end up like that. besides don't you get tired of assholes that throw their cigaret butts out the window while you ride behind, the good thing is you can kick their cars and then outrun them, lol
but keep it going, one day at a time

also don't hang with smokers, that won't help. you know the saying

I have never heard that one before......but it does make perfect sense. This is exactly why I only hang with Lesbians!

I wish I could hang out with some nonsmokers almost everyone I know smokes. My sister, fiance, my boss, coworker, brother in law and 80% of my friends. Everywhere I turn people are smoking in slow motion. lol

IT'S ALL IN YOUR HEAD!

Seriously. If you want to quit smoking you will. Don't waste money on those expensive alternatives just quit.

Don't waste your time thinking about smoking -- because you'll just keep thinking about it. When you find yourself wanting a smoke or thinking about it think about something else.

It's all in your head mate. Don't be a pussy and let the smokes beat you!
