I do nitro and electric trucks, and have one electric car, used to race them but don't know any metro area to run them and I have been looking for a track but it's about a hour away for a off road type track. But I am game to bash need to get some parts. Just bought a boat last year to tinker with in the potomic.

Just got rid of all of mine last year.... probably close to 10 vehicles mix of gas and electric. Might pick up an RTR something just to mess around without getting TOO into it again.

HPI Nitro on-road

Traxxas Slash off-road

I'd be down to run either with some other folks. Just picked up the Traxxas on Friday, so it's still completely stock. You know of some good places in the area for on/off-road?

Drt_Jumper Adam should be along shortly. He's an RC nut.

Looks like there are some *.net peeps into this hobby

Tarded Jake: I got an electric on road and a savage for the Nitro... I probably need to setup a date for this and will do it through PM... Don't really now any tracks but through schools and parks we just need a few skate board ramps to start with...

Nudist: Ya its addictive once you get back into it again... Get an HPI or Traxxas RTR...

Chris: I got an RS4 nitro and Savage for bashing! You just got a slash 2wd or 4x4? I only know schools and parks (dugout in braddock and one in centreville) for bashing and running my RC's so if you want we just need a few ramps made and we should be good to go... Btw I probably need to PM folks to setup a time and date for running our toys...

N8rider: you still have the RC bike?

Carnage: What got canceled?

The Slash is one of the new 1/10 4WD.

Doing research on some upgrades, prolly some new aluminum hubs & carriers, and new front and rear aluminum arms. Not sure about the shock towers, yet though.

My Nitro EVO is almost completely aluminum.

Set it up and they will come.

any recomendations for a good sim with controller that doesnt cost me hundreds of $$?

One of the peeps on this board got this

http://www.xheli.com/e4chflsitrki.html

but don't know if its on par with this http://www.realflight.com/new/index.html

I use the old g3 a few years ago and it paid off.. However I will ask him about the "el cheapo" xheli flight sim...
