It's also good for filling your blinkers up for winterizing so your bulbs don't break down over the winter.

Check the owner's manual. Mine recommends every 10000 blinks. I don't have very many turns on my route to/from work, so I've gone a few years since my last fluid change since I don't use the blinkers much.
