Reference Needed: Landscape Designer - March 3, 2011, 03:59 PM

Have a friend in College Park who's looking to have about a 1/4 acre of his property evaluated and redesigned.

He has the groundscrew contractors lined up, but needs a designer to help give him a vision, evaluate soil, drainage, proper and suitable plants for the soil and light conditions, etc.

He also wants to remove/sell 3 mature trees (+30 ft) so if anyone wants to remove them for value of the wood he's open to listening to offers. A custom gun guy approached him last season and made an offer on some of the knurls which would be used for stocks and handles.

We generally do all our own designs but every now and then we are to busy and have this guy do just the designs for us. That is all he does. He has a mobile design center. His name is Sean Ryan (571) 235-5640

Now on the tress. Unless he has desirable species he will have to pay to have them removed. Even if somebody pays for the wood you will still have to remove the stumps.

Heist, check this: Wildwood Landscape

Owner of Wildwood is a super nice guy and is usually the one to do bids/quotes/designs for potential customers.

He's a little far from you, but maybe worth taking a look at and/or talking to him.

We're very pleased with the outcome of the design and build.
