In Remembrance of Greg "BamBam" Walker - September 11, 2009, 11:37 AM

It is with a sense of deep sorrow I make this post. Earlier this morning. BamBamís condition took a severe turn for the worse and I am very sorry to have to inform all of you that he has passed away. His family wishes to express their gratitude for all the love and outpouring of support that has been shown for their son, father, brother, and friend.

As information becomes available about his final arrangements you will be informed.

I met Greg 5 years ago at a DCSBN function and he grew to become one of my closest friends, always being there when I needed him. I am generally a man of many words, but at this moment no words can describe the emotions I am feeling. I will miss him very much.

Pleased us this thread to pay your respects and share your memories of not only a great man, but just an outstanding human being I am proud to have called my friend.

On Monday, he took me out for my first post crash ride. He kept looking over his shoulder to make sure I wasn't scared out of my mind. We got to the first light, he looked over and saw my grin. He said "I was so waiting for that grin. It just made everything worth it all."

When the light turned green, he then proceeded to stall his bike and smash himself on the tank. We both started laughing so very hard.

Later we passed by a restaurant, he said he had heard it was really good and wanted to eat there. Then looked back and said "Let me be more clear. I want to eat there with you."

I'm so sorry Greg....
