Removing Tint - July 30, 2009, 11:40 AM

anyone good at removing tint? I need to remove mine from my truck, driver and passenger side window

If you are not replacing with new tint all you need is a razor blade, a beer and about 30 min to peel it and clean the window when you're done.

heat it up (heat gun/low heat)...peel it off...use goo-gone to remove anything left over.

There is a spray they sell at Advanced Auto Parts that does pretty good. Basically that, beer(s) and a razor blade and you are good to go..Its gonna take a min though..
