One of my very all-time favorite lines is from this book:

"I can't explain what I mean. And even if I could, I'm not sure I'd feel like it."

I'm going to add it to my sig as part of my pimp my sig effort.

RIP...
Catcher was/is an institution of modern literary works... The world lost a cultural treasure today.

Yeah, huge loss. I sometimes wonder if the Sean Connery character from Finding Forester was based in part on JD Salinger.

Right now, there's a lot of conjecture on what kind of books Salinger had written and kept hidden in his safe. I would like to read what happens to Holden Caufield after he gets out of the mental institution ...

...kay. Tell me you'll feel like it's not a big deal when your daughter turns 18 and starts dating a 53 year old man...

...just sayin.

No, they never made a movie. He refused to sell the rights to his book. Everybody wants them though.

It's not ideal but to be honest, I worry a lot more about 18 year old boys than 53 year old men.
