Road conditions on the way home? - February 13, 2007, 02:15 PM

Trafficland shows hardly anyone on the roads.

If you have driven home already, post in here what you experienced.

I went out at lunch time and did donuts down Beulah road in Vienna. Side streets are jacked right now.

From Manassas to Centreville:
I66 was clear with moderate traffic...Centreville was a thick sheet of ice with idiots everywhere you go.

Route 7 West to 340/522 South was pretty good. Route 55 West was a bit slick. Fort Valley Road was a bit icey. Mountain Road was a BITCH!

So be careful if you are on Mountain Road!

Um.. The thread is titled..."Road conditions on the way home". I was giving my report.

If I had been replying to you, I would have hit the neat little quote button at the bottom of your post, kinda like I did up above!

Now on with the reports.......

This has been a test of the no fucking clue sytem. If this had been an actual emergency no fucking clue moment, you would have been given news and information as to what link to reference to watch a youtube video regarding the situation. Again..THIS IS ONLY A TEST!

Guess I don't get my usual call on the way home tonight. So much for appreciating the gift!

from herndon to bristow. of course i took the back roads as FFX Cty Pkwy was jacked up. backup from Herndon Pkwy to get on there. so 606 once over 28 was backed up untlil you get close to 50. Someone almost flipped their Tahoe on the embankment by the airport. cross over rt 50 (Loudon Pkwy) rt onto Braddock to Pageland to rt 29. closer i got to home the better roads were. except my driveway and street is just a sheet of ice.
