2 Killed In Fallston Motorcycle Crash

(AP) FALLSTON, Md. Two people are dead after a motorcycle accident in Fallston.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office says the crash happened late Saturday night, but the victims' bodies weren't discovered until around noon Sunday.

A passer-by called 911 after he saw the bodies lying in a field along with the motorcycle. Deputies responded and the victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say the driver was 36-year-old Darius Hook of Fallston, and 28-year-old Amber Kashner of Baltimore was his passenger. Their bodies were taken to the state Medical Examiner's office in Baltimore for autopsies.

A preliminary investigation indicated that Hook was driving too fast and lost control on a curve. Neither Hook nor Kashner was wearing a helmet.

Holy crap! I don't agree with the no-helmet law. Some are all for it but there will always be inexperienced riders who think they have control and riders that have been doing it for years that have a freak thing happen and they don't realize how much a helmet will help.

RIP to both.

I'm sorry they wrecked. I agree with RJ, its sad for the families. But we all know that riding is dangerous... and not taking some simple precautions like wearing a helmet... its fucking stupid.

Darwin is going to start swinging a large stick in the state of MD if people dont start using some common sense.

I was just in Ohio for 4 days - I did not see a SINGLE person wearing a helmet. Plenty of riders though... even people with passengers. No helmets, anywhere.

How fucking dumb do you have to be? You can fix broken bones and rashed skin to an extent. You cant fix your head.

Seems like Chuck hit a home run this time. It ALWAYS sucks for the families to lose someone to a poor, preventable desicion.

Did MD pass a law that you dont have to wear helmets anymore?
