Sale of my bike help - March 14, 2011, 10:16 AM

ok..in short I had two serious buyers sight unseen with cash..

First woman offered 5K and I said no go. He came back with $5500 and I said I could prob do $5800 and he could have it.

So that was around 5pm. Around 8pm another woman from richmond said she would buy the bike sight unseen for $5800. She replied with when/where to meet me today and that she is renting a uhaul trailer.

So I sent a note that someone else had the $$ and was coming from richmond.

Woman #1 replied with that she had the full 6K cash.

Now I feel like a jerk and told woman # 2 that woman #1 countered with the full 6K.

Woman #2 replied with that she will give me the full 6K cash and has already reserved the uhaul trailer.

what is the advice here. Woman #1 talked to me first.. Woman #2 is ready to roll up here from richmond. Both have cash in hand..

Should I give dibs to woman #1 or honor woman #2 b/c yesterday i said i would sell to her and set up a meet location and time?

Slow: Sell the bike to woman #2. Give the money to woman #1 in exchange for sex. Win, win.

“Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a Prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires”.

the woman who showed interest first and countered should get first shot. set a short pickup deadline so that you don't lose the other offer.

let the other offer know exactly what's going on and be on standby if the other lady flakes. i think the second woman should/would appreciate that you are an upstanding guy and would want to buy the bike from you even more if she is lucky enough that the 1st woman flakes. if she cannot appreciate that, then i'm not sure i would want to deal with her anyhow.

In all seriousness though I would go with local woman first and then if she flakes if the other lady is truly serious you have another buyer on stand by
