Searching for a sleigh hill - Ashburn - December 19, 2009, 04:56 PM

So will be out sleigh riding with the kids on Sunday, looking for a good spot in the Ashburn area.

Anyone have some nice places to go? schools, parks, etc...?

There's a pretty good hill here: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=39.017...,0.009645&z=17

I've only been to it in the summer, but it's probably about 30 feet tall, and 75 feet long. Should be good for sleding.

Not exactly Ashburn, but Wolftrap has what you seek. Should be scads of kids there tomorrow.

I think it there is a massive hill at Loudoun County Parkway and 7 from the construction. Bunch of kids were actually snowboarding on it.
