Small Engine Repair Recommendation - July 11, 2014, 02:17 PM

I have a new to me push mower that is in good shape but for the life of me I can't get it to start. It just teases me with every pull of the chord. It has a brand new plug, didn't sit with old gas in it and looks good otherwise. I know it was used gently before it was given to me.

Anyway, I don't know anything about engines and would like to have someone check it out. Am hoping one of you can recommend a small engine repair place in and around Chantilly. My son really needs to get some experience helping me with the yard!

2 stroke or 4 stroke? Are you pulling the choke out? Spray that bad boy down with starting fluid and try and fire it up.

Thanks guys. I got sidetracked but am coming back to this; will try some quick start fluid and keep my fingers crossed.
