....and I happen to catch a glimps of the rolling defintion of a "rice rocket." For the initiated, the "rice" in rice rocket refers to any mod done which has no actual performance gain but imitates something similar on other cars that does actually give a performance gain. Examples would be a fake hood scoop or those intakes designed to look like intercoolers.

So, this 88-90 Civic had all kinds of stickers, racing stripes, walmart hubcaps, painted wheels under the hub caps....the works. Well, to each his own and I'm not one to judge peoples taste. However, when my eyes came to the trunk lid and more specificly the shopping cart spoiler on the back, I had to laugh out loud. The spoiler, which had to be 2 feet tall, was on the mounts backwords!! Yup, completely 180 degrees turned around. But the mount was on th right way, hmmm.

I tried to bust out my camera phone but the girl driving it got in a turn lane and zoomed off into the distance. I wish I had a good quaility camera in my car, I see so many goofy things on the road every day.

Earlier today... I saw one of those spinner hub caps on a van...a VAN!!! And as I was passing it, there was a middle aged woman driving it.

Her son probably put them on, and she's stuck driving it in traffic

Has anyone seen the car in Sterling that is 100% completely covered in duct tape and has 2X4s bolted together as a spoiler on the back.
