so my neighbor decided to pay me a visit... - January 7, 2010, 05:36 PM

We just recently purchased a townhome and if your neighbor has them you have them The little effers just found out that their is a new restaurant on the block. An exterminator is coming tomorrow morning to take care of these. We are getting a yearly contract with them because untill our whole townhouse row if free of them they could come back. It's such a pain in the ass, another expense and our place is new and clean(remodeled). I would have never thought but atleast they aren't the 3-4 inch ones that'd crawl out of your drains I had in Thailand

One word...BORIC ACID
They'll never come back.
If you have any wall paneling remove it. They love moisture so fix any water leaks, keep the entire house including garage and furnance area completely dry. Bomb the house a few times and use Boric in cracks, etc.
DO NOT allow your pets or children to touch the boric acid.
You can also lay some boric on the outside of your house. try to keep it away from well traveled areas to prevent other pets or people from touching it. Also keep the outside areas as dry as possible.

Works like a charm.

A solution of Boric acid and sugar is great for ants and they coat themselves and bring it back the nest.

Works better than any chemically based pesticide on the market.

I rather have those than the ones you have. At least they came from the outside, not from dirty people that previously lived in or next door.
