So...

What did you not have that you now wished you did in this snowstorm? Or what did you think you had but you didnt?! What would you have on your list if you had to make a list of what you will have next time a big snow storm

I need a better shovel
Walk to wegmans during the snow rather than go there before the snow
People suck at describing road conditions
People have horrible road rage in the snow
Next time just get snowed in at a ski resort, people in this area are just too crazy to deal with

Certainly makes picking up a 4x4 of something much more tempting. Although for 99% of the year it's not necessary. That's the only thing that would've been nice to have.

.....that or a snowmobile!

- Quattro works well in the snow even with All-Season tires.
- Electric snowblowers, why bother.
- Nothing stops ice damning.

I learned that the $$$ for a slow blower is not a waste, even if it will only get used once every 5-10 years lol.

Also learned that my sti is a useless pile of metal when it rides like crap in the snow. But that is easily fixed once I have the weather to do it.

I lost power for three days and stayed in a hotel. BEST. DECISION. EVAR.

BTW - The Xterra is beast in the snow. If 4WD high didn't get it done 4WD low did.

Come drive were I went and you will get stuck! Yes 4x4's rock but do you really need to go somewhere? I learned that people still can be assholes even when you try to help them!

I learned that icicles are evil little frozen bastards and have the stitches to prove it.....got hit right over my right eye. One inch lower and it would have been the end of a bad Seagal movie with me stabbed in the eye.

Also, I learned my VW GTI handles snow pretty damn well.

Damn! Glad it didn't end up worse. You sure you weren't just playing with your new Red Ryder BB gun?
