So I have finally scored my love and NEXT week, I will need to go pick it up.

If anyone is free next Mon-Friday before 5pm given they close at 5pm, I would definitely appreciate the 30 min -1hr of work.

I just need to go pickup my big green egg from Manassas and bring to Centreville.

I see that pic and the show Lost in Space comes to mind.

I bought one last week, been using it every night for dinners. You'll love it.

I'd offer my truck but am not even remotely close to ya.

Hey drt_jumper,

I sent you a message, looks like I could be ready to pick up this weekend given my other activities might be cancelled due to the weather.

Are you free around 5pm on Sat?

So I got to do my first cook on the new grill.... It should honestly be illegal to be able to have this kind of food everyday.

Nah no bullshit...I am dead serious. I decided to do a indirect cook of Pork Tenderloin strips and some boneless chicken thighs. Dry rubbed both last night around 8pm.

Today...around 4pm, got the electric starter, got the grill pumping and in 10 min I was putting food on it. I let it slow cook on 300 for 1.5 hrs. Trying to do things right by not breaking that 350F for your first 3-4 cooks to ensure the seal has bonded right.

Outcome = greatness.

So what is this thing? A smoker? A slow cooker? A BBQ? Danery's Dragon egg?

All of the above?

Yea, probably the best all-around outdoor cooker you can get.

Pizza, steak, pork, chicken. It works great and it's really flexible.
