Have you ever been to the Sunset Drive-in or Storybook Land? Both places were on Route 1 south of Marumsco Plaza.

My younger brother just sent me these photos -- jogging my memory. And yes, I've been to both places

When I read the title I wondered if he meant Storybook Land! I remember the ads on TV for that place growing up. My parents never took us though

Brain Cramp! Fantasy Land was a similar park in Pennsylvania.

When I was growing up in Stafford, I remember driving by Story Land all the time. I never ever saw it open. Ever. But I do remember it.

And Lazy Susan was the first place I ever went to for a "Dinner Theater." I saw the "Sound of Music" there and it was great.

Ahhhh...the good ole days.

Lazy Susan...I loved that place..Dinner Theatre is always neat. Food was okay, but the shows were always good. I don't remember Story Land, what exactly was that place?

My summer camp went on a field trip there and we lived right down the street from it. I remember everytime we would pass it I would ask my Mom if we could go. Now when we pass the empty lot she mocks me and ask me if we can go to Storybook Land. I must have annoyed her *shocking*

Lazy Susan was still open as of 3 years ago...I know a girl that was bartending there. Oh man, the regulars in there are INTERESTING.
