Songs that make the hair on your neck stand up... - May 7, 2007, 09:30 PM

These have always interested me since music theory classes in Highschool and how certain rhythms and chord progressions will spark some simulation in the human brain... everyones are different to an extent.

Whats one you know of?

Muse - Glorious

'04 CBR1000RR and lots of Volvos (and now a new Tundra for hauling them around when they all break)

Hair stand up in a good, wow, that's touching way? Or hair stand up like you're hearing nails on a chalkboard?

Evenesense : My Immortal

*note* it has to be the version with just the piano and her singing. Not the full band.

God Speed Jeff! You'll never be forgotten.

would be interesting to see if you get any responses for a piece of music as opposed to a "song". I know there are a few classical arrangements that can do that to me as well as compostitions of music and lyrics.

If that be the case Moonlight Sonnata gets me like that.

A particular movment in Brahms Requiem is rather powerful... "Blessed are they that mourn"

Imogen Heap - The moment i said it
Origa remix of Yoko Kanno's - Inner Universe
Sevendust - Angels Son

Come on Tanya... post it up, dont be shy lol. Is it as bad as something from the Lion King sndtrk like Circle of Life? For what its worth, those Disney compositions are written with tear jerking in mind... unless you're jtattoos
