Wow. I clicked on the link expecting to read some piddly Buttafuco statutory rape story about a hot young thing that was enamored with an older, powerful man and it all being consensual.

But this is far removed from that.

IIRC, he wasn't even the owner of Red Jacket. He was the owner in name only. A few years ago the ATF ran a surprise inspection and found that some NFA weapons in his bound book were missing from his inventory. Huge violation. They stripped him of his builder's license.

You mean the "Phew, that gun's got some kick!" daughter who was firing a ".50AE Desert Eagle" that surprisingly looked like a 9mm M92 Beretta.

But his name was closely associated to the company so it's going to likely hurt them.

Oh, undoubtedly it will.
The smartest thing for them to do would be to pull a Blackwater and ditch the name altogether, remove the signage, lay low for a month, and then re-incorporate and re-open under a new name.

Just something else to think about...
He was divorced if I remember, he and his ex-wife were in some sort of constant tiff over money and ownership %'s of RJ.
I'm sure he's been pulling a healthy revenue stream from the Discovery show.

One of the most vicious - but not unheard of ways for a woman to enact retribution is to claim that their ex-spouse was engaged in child molestation.

It's a disgusting tactic but has been employed on more than few occasions by scorned women.

It would be nice if this would bring an end to reality tv shows in general.
