Speed channel on Verizon fios? - August 18, 2013, 11:58 AM

Speed channel seems to have disappeared from my Verizon fios. A quick google shows they're now supposed to be Fox sports 1, but I don't even see that on my fios yet. Anyone know what the deal is with Speed channel?

^^^Correct.
FS1 is the same channel as the former SPEED network.
It's like Speed + ESPN + Eurosport.
I'm fine with that because SPEED has turned to utter crap. 90% of the programming was NASCAR, Barrett Jackson, and Pinks.
There was no balance in their content like back in the late 90's through mid-00's.

Yeah, freeked out looking for Moto GP this morning. Coverage seems to be way better than Speed was doing so far with Moto 1/2. GP starts at 2pm.

Putting a team mate at risk and risking both bikes DNF'ing for zero gain is not wise.

When your team has essentially let you go already....not much to lose. Plus, it underscores how hard he is riding that POS bike.

Besides, it was about the only way that the Ducs were going to get airtime or any coverage. Now that pass and double jump will be on all of the highlight reels.

Nicky needs to make a few waves to get something decent for next year. On a better bike he'd most likely be in the top 5 riders. (probably 5th, but still better than 9th. He's not one of the aliens.)

Punting your teammate and losing a spot for both of you is not going to endear you to anyone. I love me some Hayden, but that was a bonehead move that had frustration written all over it.

Hold up, all season I've been trying to watch or track racing. Will CBS Sportsbe showing races still or is Fox Sports 1 the one and only. I remember days of old withTwo Wheeled Tuesdays. Then life changed. Never the same again, sniff sniff

Having to compete with NASCAR for air time was bad enough. Now racing is on the same channel as Football coverage, among other things?

We're not going to see near as much Motorsports now.
