I'm in...worked legs today so I'm not going to be sprinting up any hills!

32 miles on Saturday...it was HOT...ran out of water...

Stopped at the rock quarry...never saw it before but rode past it many times. Seems to be a lot of interesting little spots along the trail; one of these days I'm going to stop and check them all out.

I won't be able to make it tomorrow...next time out we'll up the pace though. I think it would be fun to work in a few sprints towards the end as we get closer just in case anyone hits the wall.

What have you guys been considering a "spin pace" on your rides? I have been bike commuting into work a couple days a week but can't tell how fast you're talking.

Last time out we only averaged 16.7mph (per my computer) so it's a very slow easy pace!

Well, last time I raced was back in 1991...since then I stopped riding bicycles...

So...beating me now really doesn't mean much

Cycling to me now is a great way to get me into shape for racing.

I'll try to get there by 6. The Herndon Festival is this weekend so the parking lot is closed, I'm going to have to ride there.
