I made it out of Iraq again yesterday and this time I'm coming home, today. I should be done with the Marine Corps and back in NoVa in about 2 weeks. Once I'm stateside I should be back to my usual levels of activity. I got a lot of old posts to look through too. The membership has grown a lot it seems. I hope to see a lot of you at one of the many social gatherings that are being organized.

Ride safe

Travis

Yes, the powers of the Dark Side has drawn a lot of new recruits. :lsvader: Our plan will soon be complete!

Good to hear they're finally gonna let you go - you must have p.o'ed some top brass to make them keep you there that long! See you on the right side of the pond.

I'm back at Lejeune now. Tomorrow my I'll get my VFR and other stuff out of storage. If I can get the Viffer running then I'll be coming home for the weekend. I'm going to try to get 4 days off. I won't be telling my family that I'm coming so it will be a big surprise for them.

Dave-sure I'll help with emulators. Can you wait a week, maybe two? I need to outprocess.

Cool! That'll be a nice surprise for your family!!

And hell yeah, I can wait. I've got a ton of track days over the next few weeks, so I'm not sure I would even have time to do it real soon. I would also need to order them, and springs. Should I get anything else? Adjustable preload caps? I have a 2001 SV so no preload caps. SteveZX9 helped me install some homemade spacers, but heck, I might as well upgrade while I'm at it I guess.

Any recommendations on where to get the stuff?

The racetech site recommends .85 spring rate for 180-185 lb rider without gear. I've had racers tell me they would recommend .90 springs for that weight. Any thoughts?
