Swap car tires on new rims in NOVA, where do I go? - September 16, 2011, 04:09 PM

Having seen what I got charged with the bike, I would like to avoid surprises and get an idea of how much swapping (and balancing) rims on my 74' Gran Torino will run me. Suggestions on where to go? I'm close to Bailey's Crossing.

Damn if it were a newer car and you didn't have any special rims, I would have said Hertz, Dollar, Enterprise,......Or any other one. Just kidding. lol

R.I.P. Eric. You were truly like a younger brother to me. May you live on in all those you helped and reached out to help. You are truly missed!

tfinch: well, actually, if he did, that's fine cause it's in the pockets!

: Mike, can you feel bubbles floating around in there?

tfinch: Bubbles! Yes! Gurgly bubbles!

The Mr. Tire on Columbia Pike is actually very good. I think 2x 335/35-17s and 2x 275/40-17s ran me ~$250. They cut me a deal though.

I think I didn't express myself properly: I am not looking to buy tires, I am simply putting the ones I have on new rims: I want to change rims, not tires. I simply need to figure out how much it is to have my existing tires taken off the car, put onto my new rims, balanced and have the those put back on the car
