Tattoo artist recommendation in NoVA? - April 29, 2013, 05:15 PM

Looking to get a small tattoo on my fingers. Would any tattoo shop be able to do that or should I look for one that specializes in fingers and small details?

I don't care how good a tattoo artist is. Be careful with small tattoos especially in that region. It will spread and look like crap 90% of the time.

yeah i heard it takes special skill to do the hands. i know next to nothing about tattoos so i figured i'd ask here since there are quite a few who are into them and might know an artist or a resource to find one.

Ask to see photos of their fine line work. And of course whatever your design is also matters.

Hands are hard to do. You want somebody that does good solid line work. Check out Anya at the body gallery in sterling. She does sick line work!!!

Exposed Temptations is good from what I've seen. My wife has at least five tattoos from them.
