Is there an android app that can locate iOS devices? - March 27, 2013, 02:30 PM

Im starting to get bored with my iPhone but I cannot switch because I need the "find iPhone" app. Actually that works for my iPad and macbook pro as well. I like the new SG4, but I can't switch unless i know for sure theres a proven "iDevice locator" app for Android.

Does anyone know if such an app exists for the Android or Bb10 platform?

browse to icloud.com with the android browser, and login with your apple ID. The find my iWhatever should work fine in a browser, independent of any particular app

you'll have to use chrome or firefox and browse in "desktop mode"

there are no android native apps that can do it because apple isn't using any accessible APIs for icloud

I did try that on a Galaxy Note 2 and it did not work, said something about it not being compatible. Maybe i needed to set to "desktop mode" as you had mentioned.

Yeah, and the stock browser won't work.

You can always locate the devices from a computer, as well.
