Thinking about moving back to my home town - June 29, 2012, 10:26 PM

I miss this morning view. Looking at these apartments. Fairfield Properties: Fairfield Northport Harbor 7 Beach Road NY, NY

Have any of you been away for years from your home town and gone back but regret it?

I'll still have my house here in VA though.

Any advice besides don't do it. LOL

is your home town still the same?

like for example i'm in your shoes I'm originally from PG county Bladensburg is where I grew up. Now I live out on the eastern shore with a bunch of rednecks and a totally different kind of living. The nearest McDonald is about 20-25 min drive from me and if I want Chiplote I have to drive to Dover, DEL because its a shorter drive than it is to Easton.

Now I could never "go home" because Blade has changed so much than what it used to be but all my family and friends is across the bridge.

but on the + side I have a nice house good size yard and nice neighbors and its quiet but I do miss hearing the sounds of the city tho

It all depends on the + and - do a pro and con which ever is more go with that.

as for me I'm trying to get back over the bridge. Being 2+ hr drive from DC sucks
