How long did it take? Which service did you go with? Expedited?

Was just at the passport office in Boston for work. They are the ones that do all of the processing for books and cards. There is a 4 week-ish wait currently, expidited will be faster and guaranteed if you need it. A government shutdown on April 8th will seriously effect how fast this work gets processed. NO passports will be issued if the gov shuts down.

I sent mine in probably 2 or 3 weeks ago. They cashed the check but I haven't gotten the passport back yet.

I still pay the $60.00 but the DC office said I would need to be traveling within 14 days. Should I wait my 14 days or?

You have to bring proof that you're traveling within two weeks, internationally, to do the walk-in expedited service. It's just up from K street.
