For those who use Sprint Mobile Email application .. need your help - June 3, 2008, 01:32 PM

I've just downloaded Sprint Mobile Email for my Palm Treo 700p. Personally, I think it looks and functions way better than the VersaMail program which comes with the Palm OS. How often does the Sprint Mobile Email program download new messages for the email accounts? 15 min, 30 min? I heard that this uses "push" technology and when a new email arrives, I should immediately see it in my inbox.

With the VersaMail program, I can set it to automatically go to the server and download new messages every 5 minutes. Can't do that with this Sprint Mobile Email application.

Any advice?

It should do that auto. If not,

-go to any inbox
-press menu button on your 700p
-goto “Settings"
-select “Preferences”
-on top right, you should see drop in menu and select “Schedule”
-select and check mark on “Push messages to my device”

I hope this is help.
