VA has more strict laws. I wouldn't say VA is crazy for getting tickets, but WHEN YOU DO...

I call bullshit.
DC is number 1?
How are they ranking this list - by %'age of tickets based on %'age of population.

Update: Yup, I was right. That'll definitely skew the scale. States with smaller populations will rank higher.

well if you think about it PER CAPITA.

So technically, the info is skewed for D.C., Vermont, Delaware, and possibly Mass. Altough VA is a pretty big commonwealth it is in size comparable to SC maybe AND I-95 runs right through it so I'm not sure how VA isn't on the TOP TEN...

maybe b/c VA pulls over for speeding on 95 and issue all sorts of OTHER tickets that speeding gets drowned out? I don't know.

What do you value more? Life or Image?

I got a ticket in North Dakota going 87 in a 65 years ago. It only cost me something like $60. The penalty isn't too bad unless you go 40+ over.
