I now laugh at the hybrid and fuel-efficient vehicle owners.

And if this isn't enough...keep in mind if you didn't know already...your car insurance co. bases on your rate on your credit score. Regardless of whether you've had a ticket, accident, claim of any kind, and pay your insurance bill on time. Obviously if you can't be responsible with money, then you can drive responsibly.

horrible idea, removes some incentive to make and buy more fuel efficient cars. If saving gas meant saving taxes as well then people would be more apt to do it, I do understand that roads and highways are extremely expensive to maintain and therefore people who are on them longer cost the government more, but I think reducing our oil consumption is more important

Get a golf cart OR a moped to drive around town and you won't have to pay the taxes.

There is always a loophole.

Before I read this, I already knew 2 things that made this very believable. When you apply for insurance, you are asked for 2 things:

1. What's your social security number?

2. Have you ever filed for bankrupcy?
