Tron Lightcycle - June 30, 2010, 09:59 AM

There's a lot to love about Tron, but for me it all pales in comparison to the lightcycles. These ones on eBay? Not props. They're working, street-legal models you can actually buy. But you'll want to hurry. The limited edition of five lightcycles—each made to movie spec, but with actual working parts—comes from the same outfit that brought you the $100,000 Batpod. These babies will put a hurt on your savings, too, but at $35,000 they're almost tempting enough to consider. Especially since they're a limited edition:

I'll bet a bag of donuts they will not be street legal. (well, an electric version *Might* escape needing to be titled/registered.)

My garage space is reserved for functional equipment (well... mostly anyway LOL) If someone gave me one it would have to sit outside in the weather. No room for this type of thing in there.
Building it would be kind of cool. Snapping a pic of it if I saw one in person? Absolutely! Buying it? Nah.

haha....this is SO FAIL....lol you're looking at the eBay and you see all the photos until you get to the REAL LIFE verson which looks like a batcycle hybrid knockoff (or probably was)....

then like one of the comments said, he is not selling you the bike...he is selling you the IDEA that he can build the bike. The price for that idea...$35K....

Also you're not gonna look as cool as the show on the street...lol.

What do you value more? Life or Image?
